i "think" the lyric meant a society of unequal men/women role. so to get away from this society, become more liberals or some idk.

i dunno probably were just high when they wrote it so they don't even know. but if it meant something your first guess maybe was not so bad cause the original songwriters said it had something to do about "battle of the sexes" (which doesn't necessarily make sense)... just curious how did u conclude that (it had to do with "unequal roles in society")?

umm i conclude because the overall lyric talks about gender issue.

obviously, the songwriter wrote he/she hates men and the women? but what's the reason to hate women if it's not for the unequal balance of gender role?

then it went on to provide that he/she hates man/woman but not that man/woman, then it must be the traditional role of men/women. thats all

i think it's definitely about self-hate mixed together with sexual repression lol very specifically.....

but yeah that gets manifested when unequal gener roles in society occur to the extreme or when you fight against the oppossite sex too much too lol
