I didn't know those stones were so freaking hot! So far Buuz and zuivan are my favorite dishes and I'm also a big fan Mongolian potato salad. I also like that vodka I think it's called болор. That $hit is good. Anything else I should try?

Bring back some Seabuckthorn wine for your folks, Mongolian name Jetzrogan dars. If you are interested in premium beer or vodka then Altan Turuu (Vodka) and Borigoo(beer) are favorites of the locals. Horhoi aruul is probably a better choice for tourists as like french and some italian cheeses it is an acquired taste, I can tell you though it is mostly protein (you may know whey), although (mostly young girls or women like it). Go get some shorlog.

Thanks for the suggestions! I already had Aruul, it is like eating cheese but it was pretty good. I think I'm the biggest fan of the buuz, I can eat a whole plate of them!

Have you tried, Khuushuur? thats my favourite. If you have what do you think of it?Ofcourse there are good and badly made ones but many of them are decent.Modern Nomads have good ones.

And beware of fake imitation vodka's those are around everywhere,im positive they have fake "bolors".
