the good news for Viet folks.
Chinese Think Tank believes China would not physically invade those little rocks and islands of the Spratley islands holding by the Vietnam currently. Therefore those Viet soldiers can relax.

But the Caveat is
China will enforce fishing rules and oil exploration. Any unilateral oil exploration by Viets or foreigners will be met with forces from the PLAN like previous incidence. Oil platforms won't be allow to setup and exploration ships will be chased away by the PLAN. However, China will reserve the rights to oil drill by itself in the Sea.

So, basically the deal for Viets would be occuping the rocks in spratley and for tourism would be tolerable,

However, any oil exploration is a NO NO. also the fishing rights too.

Well then, enjoy your tourist visit to Spratley islands.

Play fair. Give us some destroyers to level out the playing field in our East Sea.

Dai Viet or Viet Cong are better at jungle and boobietrap. At Sea, I don't think so.
A number of incidences already Viet Navy met the PLAN, they either got killed or got chased away.

I think Viets are not good at sea. the Sea Sickness Syndrome , need some of those anti-motion sickness tablets.

You could ask yourself, Socal, Do you get sick riding a boat in the sea?

Vietnam doesn't have to battle with China on the Sea. Vietnam just have to invest in missile technology as the whole South China Sea is within attacking range for Vietnam to launch missiles from land to sea.
