First thing is this health care BS. Seriously not everyone can afford health care now and the doctors are asking WAY too much money for things such as surgery! Its ridiculous and most of it is because of lawsuits and malpractice. For example my 400 pound husband died from natural causes shortly after a heart transplant so I'm going to sew the hospital for money. Seriously!? well maybe if your husband isn't 400lb and unhealthy then maybe he would of had a better chance living, Doctors did the best they could. Lawyers need not to do these lawsuits anymore unless it has a more valid reason, but they dont care they just want money. to add to lawyers, they need to get it out of their heads that they can make laws in the US. If i needed a serious surgery i would be better off going to Germany or Sweden or some other country to get it cheaper and probably better. sad to say.

Second is this Pot/THC issue the federal government and state government need to remake. It is classified still more dangerous than cocaine, opium, and morphine?! Drug Classification. What kind of anger issue did America have to classify that as being a "Schedule 1" drug. no medical uses? Marijuana has no medical uses? its one of the best used substance with no harmful side effects. I know a friend who had cancer and she had to take drug after drug with side effects then had to take drugs to counter those side effects, up until she took marinol (THC) did her pain was more relieved because she had no side effects besides maybe hunger. she was going through chemo therapy at that time (she survived). So this definitely has to end, cause the government is upholding some grudge or something to try to convince the public it is as dangerous as heroine and people still go to jail possessing a plant grown in nature and not made by people... its dumb..

Democrats and Republicans have always been fighting.
However, they followed certain unsaid rules: No hitting below the belt, private life was off the table, No sabotaging opponents plan and in emergency we come together.

Politicians compromised back then and if one side won a bill then the other side gave up and started plans for their next objective, not sabotage the other side so the enemies plan can't work. If side A's bill passes then side B kills its funding. If Side B's legislation passes then side A uses the court to call it unconstitutional. And the hostility towards each other is at an all time high.

Politics has to be repaired before any national problem gets solved.

No offense but I really disdain that some pot smokers think that legalization of a leisure drug, except for medical use, is the most important legislation that need to be passed.

I agree with Avisitor with the marijuana and being careful because yeah in a lot of states JUST getting caught with it will ruin your life completely and possibly jail time. it is stupid. There are a LOT of people in jail and prison for marijuana, more than murderers and rapists, that i am sure is a fact. But if it is legalized or decriminalized then the prison system will not be full of people that managed to get caught with an "illegal nature grown plant."

The only thing i am still not sure about is the gun law. In the back of my mind i feel that making guns illegal would seem like the best idea to lower violence and crime. But what good would that do if the people already posses the guns now? It is easy to conceal a gun, and making it illegal won't stop people from carrying them if they carry them now or using them. The only thing it will prevent is the legal purchase of guns.

Also i feel that the government should not be the only power to posses weapons of that sort. It feels nice to be under this blanket of security knowing that the government will protect us from attackers but living in a country where we are just people without the ability to protect ourselves because guns are illegal just doesn't feel right. Am I the only one that feels that way? or maybe i am just paranoid.

My beef is that the only reason drug possession is still legal is OBVIOUSLY (and I mean OBVIOUSLY) to make sure that it's easy to put black people behind bars.

And for what? Most states (AHEM CALIFORNIA) cannot even afford to keep these people in jail. They could be out working and paying taxes. (lol)

Also, even if most countries follow the above policy, there are other countries that allow recreational drugs as legal. It just seems so arbitrary to me.
