I was wondering in Taiwan are there many paparazzi's? And are they crazy? Like do they act like paparazzi's in Hollywood? And where do they usually stay? In taipei city? Also who they usually follow? Singers? Actors? Models?

Like if a celebrity is shopping will they be constantly taking photos?

The paparazzi's are very active. The most infamous is Apple Daily which is the most popular newspaper and Apple Weekly is its tabloid, also the most popular weekly.
They don't harass celebrities and make a dedicated TV show like TMZ, but they'd stick around until they get an ugly photo of a celeb picking her nose.

Why do you ask about paparazzi?

Well I live near Hollywood.. so me seeing paparazzi's running everywhere screaming jumping in front of my car and getting in the way on the road is normal for me. I am moving to Taiwan soon so I was wondering if it is different there.

Are these celebrities followed everyday? Are they followed with a lot of flashing cameras in front of them or do the paparazzi's hide?
