I was given an unfounded warning by Gatts and I don't understand the reason for being warned. This is what it said: "harrassing a member about his ethnic background and making groundless accusations as a new member, you're on thin ice. stay on topic and refrain from flaming."

I did not do what he accused me of and he did could not give me an example or quote of what I did. Also, this is not the only time he has warned me for something unfounded. Gatts, please try to treat everyone fairly and equally because being a mod does not make you immune from bias and have absolute power. Perhaps you don't like me or my ethnicity, and that is your choice, but do not use that as leverage to punish me. Most of the other mods do their job and set their personal bias aside, but mod's like Gatts are not doing their job and need to be reviewed.

If anyone else has been treated unfairly by Gatts or any other mod please speak out. Freedom of speech is no longer free if people cannot state their opinions.

Edit: I made a thread about unfair moderation in K-chat and it was closed. I feel like I am being heavily censored for calling out injustice.

I will agree with the above poster. I have received unwarranted suspensions and false accusations about flaming. I have seen this place be very unfair as osme members can do and say whatever they want while others are warned and threatened for doing the exact same thing.

there is a lot of injustice here, and the mods do not like it when you defend koreans and expose the sins of the westerners, who bash, insult, attack, ridicule korea and koreans unfairly and without cause. What people complain about taking place in this country, takes place all over the world and they need to grow up and stop acting like spoiled children who think the koreans only exist for their pleasure.

the way he said it before the quote was edited was against racial mixing and "preserving purity"....he sounded more like a scared supremacist than an asian observer. Majority of Koreans see China negatively, and by the trend it's only becoming more negative. Koreans see Japan negatively also, but it's been improving according to recent polls. capt. corea is so funny. he is one of the false accusers and reports flaming whenthere is none taking place. he and a couple others use their posts to put words into the mouths of other members ensuring that the poster will get into trouble.

the other problem onhere is that the mods do not invesigate properly and solely take the words of c.c. and his friends. they forget that the american idea of 'it is how it is perceived' is not correct as that is pure subjectivism and existentialism, not the truth. the mods need to learn that it is 'how the author intended' the post to be that matters.

bowing to subjective opinions shows that the mods have no interest in justice or ruling fairly and that they ignore the accused and do not let them defend themselves.
