Why would the US attack China? 
This article plays up Chinese capabilities and plays down those of the US. It's no different than neo-con editorials which do the reverse.

I would be suprise in the 1st scenario in which the US dedicates all of their carriers to China as it would leave other regions open to Russia or Iran

China is no iraq. Preventing a future war by starting a war with China just doesn't work. lol
If they wanted a regime change on the mainland, they should have done it when China was still weak. Now its too late and they know it. They are already dealing with China on even terms.
