A lab technician charged with murdering a Yale grad student has been arraigned.

Raymond Clark III kept his head bowed during the three-minute appearance. The accused killer of 24-year-old Annie Le did not enter a plea. He said "yes, your honour" when asked if he understood his rights.

The judge set bail at $3 million.

Clark was arrested Thursday at a hotel and charged with murdering Le, whose body was found stuffed in the wall of a research building on what would have been her wedding day.

Police say it was a case of workplace violence, but didn't elaborate.

Clark was sent to a holding cell. His next court date is Oct. 6

yeah, I think it's hate crime. The mediocre man wanted to talk about "protocols" with a doctoral student. Being a janitor and marginalized in Yale, he must have tried hard not to be looked down in a prestige environment. Let him rotten in a filthy cell until he feels remorse then hang him.

Hafiz, don't get oversensitive and fall into his path. I have seen too much racism in the post-Bush U.S. lately, Serena being a prime example of racism against Asians, insecure towards white umpires, audiences, white peers in the changing room, she turned to a little Asian lady to vent her anger.

There is a sign of relief on your part which I understand.

I think white-collar Asian females, who are easy targets, should be more aware of their own safety as the level of playing field between East and West becomes more and balancing in this age and those redneck under-achievers (not being racist here) become more vulnerable in what they think as their own turf.
