in a superhero battle of giant robot, between these two giants robot, megazord (from power ranger) vs optimus prime (from transformer):

since both are heroic robot, the story goes like this... a virus infected Optimus Prime's wire head, so this robot went on a killing rampage, then a bunch of college heroes of 5 different color power rangers, went and transformed into the giant megazord to stop Optimus Prime..

I would have to go with Megazord. I've never gotten to Transformers but the original Power Rangers (the rest of the series sucks) was one of my favourite shows as a child. I always loved how the 5 giant robots based on extinct animals could form one large robot. I especially like it when the Megazord is combined with the Dragonzord

megazord is a giant as tall as 50-80 story building, and optimus is just as 2-3 story building high he will crush optimus with just one feet.

Optimus Prime > Mega Zord. Kill the Rangers and it would be useless.

Prime wins hands down. I'm not a PR fan but every Megazord I've ever seen has been slow and cumbersome and quite blatantly a man in a rubber suit. Where as every incarnation of Prime has kicked serious @$$. Look at the way he fights Megatron in the movie after whupping the whole Decepticon army and the way he fights him at the end of Armada. He pwns Devastator too in the DW comics. Trust me, Prime is faster and smarter, all he needs to do is get one shot at the Megazord's head and it's game over.
