I prefer Mahathir anyday over Pak Lah and Najib. i considered both as too weak.

According to the book I read, it says Razak was the mastermind. The Malay military were siding with the Malays, example, firing into chinese shops while Malays who participated in fights watched on beside the military. It was a clear case of military siding with Malays to fight Chinese. When they announced curfew, Chinese cannot come out. But Malays were seen talking to the army.
