UPP =Ugly and Poor People's Party, fighting for democracy.


DDP people are poor and also ugly looking. KMT folks have that mainstream Han Chinese look. DDP have that hillbilly hicks look.
Aweful, I have nightmares after seeing annette lu and Chen chu of taipei pictures. I have seen alot of their followers and supporters.Those are some ugly people by Chinese standard.

Their pursuit of freedom and democracy wouldn't save them from being poor and their ugly looks.

Taiwanese hoklo have probably been inbreeding themselves for some time before the arrival of mainlanders. The Taiwanese hoklos are descendent's of poor fisherman and seafarers who settled on the island. so poorer looks seems to be common. especially darker skin, i've seen a girl from taipei whose parents were mainlanders and she was pale. somewhere else i saw one man from southern taiwan was fat and very tanned and looked mexican.

So they know who they are and where they stand in the order of things otherwise they overestimate themselves.

I don't know what is worst , being poor or having poor character. Maybe both can be changed.

You can make it up by being handsome. Remember , in real life, look is 90%.
If you are ugly and poor, no amount of good character can save you.
