My name is Kenji, and I'm a Japanese-American ex-gangster from Orange County. For most of my adult life, I worked as a drug smuggler, racketeer, and all-round criminal in the Colombian drug cartels and American Mafia before changing my life and seeking to redeem myself as an undercover FBI operative against organized crime for eight years. If you doubt my story, you can check out the cover piece on me in this week's OC WEEKLY (ocweekly.com) or other articles about me in GIANT ROBOT, RAFU SHIMPO, ASIAN WEEK, and at my websites BreakshotBlog.com and BreakshotBook.com
The reason I'm posting to this forum is that a major part of my redemption has been my work to reach out and share my experiences with the Asian-American community, both to help dissuade young Asian-American kids from following my footsteps into a life of crime and to help Asian-American parents deal with delinquent, gang-related, criminalized, or drug addicted teens. I've also worked to promote tolerance of alternative lifestyles among AA-teens and gang culture at large through my Street Tolerance initiative (StreetTolerance.com).
So, I'm posting to this messageboard to see if anyone has any suggestions on organizations, forums, or people who may be interested in my help. Also, if anyone has any questions about my life, or the life of an Asian-American in the American underworld, I'd be happy to help."
