It's ridiculous when people try to know more about what Thai should look like than even the Thai people ourselves. 
I'm always misunderstood for being Chinese when going abroad but I'm 100% Thai. Those girls are 'common' in Thai universities. Most of these are Chinese-mixed but pretty a lot are purely Thai too.
