Although I do have to say that Chinese come in many shades; however, these are the majority that I tend to see

I'm talking the "ideal look" here. I noticed a lot of pretty Chinese models(surgically enhanced) have features you find common in Lao-Tai women(double eye lids, facial features, etc.) like the Chinese model above.

Actually, Southern Chinese and the Tai people are very similar in physical features.

Let me try to explain it a little better. You see that Chinese model above. I'm pretty sure she got cosmetic surgery like most Chinese models/stars.

Now look at this Lao singer/model. She's all natural-meaning she didn't get plastic surgery done on her to look this way. And when you compare the Chinese model above to this Lao singer/model they have similar features because of cosmetic surgery(eyes, facial features, etc.).

The difference is the Lao girl is natural and the Chinese model is surgically enhanced. So the Ideal look the Chinese strive for and think is beautiful is already present in naturally beautiful Lao-Tai(Dai) women.

First of all, I dont think the two girls you posted look alike, to Chinese, the first one is more attractive, the second one is attractive in an exotic way, I think the second one looks a bit indianish.

We all know most of the asian get some degree of Chinese/sino blood in their Y-DNA, as genetic studies confirmed, so there is no surprise you can find asians from any asian groups who can look like Chinese, especially these ethinc minority who lives in China.

I agree that this girl is very pretty, but seriously, have you been to any chinatown, or been to any chinese buffet where a lot of chinese girls work, or seen a group of chinese international students? seriously, i never seen so many ugly asian women/ppl in a square block before. Genetically speaking Mongolians are vastly different than N.Chinese, they are C3c people which are the so-called old-asian type, i.e. the few left first-wave migrations who surivived from the slaugher commited by the second wave of migration from African.

This is not a East Asian vs South East Asian thread. The point of my thread is the compare the facial features of the Ideal look that the Chinese find attractive to that of Lao-Tai(Dai) people.

Look at this Chinese lady facial features Before and After surgery. I think most people would agree that the Chinese lady Before surgery is a very common Chinese look(the eyes, face, etc.)



Now compare that Chinese lady After surgery to that of these Dai(Tai) women from Southern China. Notice the Chinese lady now have bigger eyes and a more angular face which is a common trait found in Lao-Tai(Dai) people.

So all this time those Chinese people brag about their beauty but it's from surgery? That's not natural beauty then.

You are trying to compare the pretty tai with the average Chinese who need to do lots plastic surgery in korea, this is not a fair comparison:
