I don't know, but I do know that during the Wei Dynasty (Xiongnu), the northern people pushed the Chinese down into southern China. There, that was when the Chinese started to have beef with the non-Chinese people in the south.
There are many stories about Chinese that sought refuge in Hmong villages. None were important to us Hmong. They were often known as thieves.
(no offense), nothing intended to hate on the Chinese, but that how it was back then. This is why Hmong people developed the saying, CLOSED THE DOOR OR THE CHINESE WILL COME.
Because of our people hospitality and respect toward guests from afar, they often take advantage of us, resulting in robbing, cheating and etc... sometimes even death or wars.
You should ask the Hmong OGs, I'm sure they know.
