It looks good so far. But even so, it doesn't matter how independent or unorthodox (by Filipino standards) a movie is shot, it just always seem too dramatic. Like there's a ton of movies I've watched internationally where the actors seem just natural, every time you see a pinoy movie you know it's acting.

Why do they have to exaggerate their actions to convey meaning?.......when a simple facial expression or little movement of any body part will do.

It's not drama on stage they're performing. This is movie.

actually, therewas a time na marami tayong nakuhang mga awards at accolades bilang best directors, best movie, ect. lino brocka one several awards internationally for oro, plata, mata and itim, i think.

I've seen this movie once. I thought it was good just way too dramatic at some points. Sometimes I feel like its telling me something I already know. Everyone should make it clear that the conflict in Mindanao is not religious. Simply put, it's just a bunch of criminals sugar-coating their "cause" with religious themes to win support from their clerics and other fanatics overseas.
