Why don't people just lay off of the shrine. It's basically ancestor worship , just leave it alone. Let them pay respect to their dead.

The shrine also includes soldiers who raped, pillaged, and murdered bunch of chinese civilians during ww2, including whole bunch of south east asians.

In the course of human history , atrocity is part of war. You have no right to tell someone to stop paying respect to their dead ancestors.

And don't forget , there is korean and taiwanese soldiers who are enshrined there not just japanese. Why disrespect the dead?

You should encourage people to learn from their mistakes , but you can't tell someone to disrespect their ancestors.

One more reason to be against the damned shrine, those koreans, chinese(/taiwanese) soldiers who are enshrined there are basicly traitors who have betrayed their own people and aided the japanese invaders to cause more suffering, if there is any group of people who doesnt deserve to be respected after death it has to be them.

Sure. Just because your ancestors were murdering, torturing, raping, sickos why stop worshipping them? The fact is you're proud of what the Japanese did in Nanjing and you'd do it again in a second if America wasn't keeping your country down.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collaborationist_Chinese_Army

like the one useful thing fukn 漢奸 did...."Many commanders of collaborationist army secretly cooperated with the Chinese Secret Service under General Dai Li, exchanging intelligence about IJA troop movements as well as taking orders from him to suppress communists activities."

everything else was just pitiful.

"the collaborationist Chinese army suffered from very low morale because the general public in the occupied areas viewed them as Hanjian, or traitors to China, and many surrendered quickly to Chiang Kai-shek's forces during military engagements."

"The collaborationist troops were mainly assigned to garrison and logistics duties in occupied territories, and were rarely fielded in combat because of their low morale and distrust by the Japanese. They fared very poorly in skirmishes against real Chinese forces, whether the KMT or the CCP"

I would believe that those who managed to be enshrined in japan would have accomplished more for their japanese master than the most of the rest of their normally useless kind, which would make them even more despicable.

Reagrdless of who is entombed there, it is no place for an American flag. The people in video were nicer than I would have been after the first instruction to remove it, even though it is my flag.

I would agree.
He didn't need to be there to begin with; at least not in that capacity.

The Nanjing massacre and their live experiments. Ahhh man it's horrible. Have you heard of unit 731? I bet some of you have not. It's not a pretty sight...OMG it's so psychotic. Distortion in the brain! The plague infected fleas?

Search for Baidu in google and it will bring up a Chinese search engine link.

Heard China was pissed that Koizumi was paying tribute at Yasukuni Shrine and he resigned. That's messed up!
