Full Version: what happened to the great robot battles?
I'm not much of an Anima fan, but looking thru Netflex for an anime to watch, I could find any that really caught my eye. what happened to epic battles like in Neon Genesis Evangelion? Maddox? Throw out the CGI, those Transformer battles fail.

I would recommend Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (2007)...
