that the Hmong were recorded in their history. The Tibetan refers to area where the Hmong ruled back then as "Myaw."

A Mien friend told me Hmong people are recorded in their history as well.

orally handed down history suck, i wish hmong people would have recorded their own history more and in a better and more accessible way

Maybe they did, but their kingdom was destroyed and their historical books abolished. If you ask the ppl that can browse past lives, maybe you'll meet someone important enough who actually partake in the events of the ancient past. They can be a kind of proof of our "hidden" Hmong history. Hint Hint.

If hmong really want to know about there history in China. The only best place to find ancient history is in Beijing since they also contain other ethnic living in China for thousand of years. This also include the Tai ethnic people before there was even separated into other ethnic of today.
