i dont see any threads about modern warfare 2, but yea heres what happened..

my ps3's bluray disc drive went bad on november 6th so it couldnt read ANY discs that i put in.. i bought a new bluray disc drive just a few days ago and it still didnt arrive yet.. modern warfare 2 released yesterday at 12am and i picked it up this morning right before i got to school.. since my ps3 broke, i brought it over to a friend's house to play and so far so good.. i give it a 9/10 .. the difficulty is definitely harder than cod4's because regular difficulty feels like hardened.. they have a lot more cool things like thermal vision when looking through scopes and even sticky grenades now but i dont like em very much..

what do you guys think of the game? anything bad happen like what happened with my ps3 just before mw2?

It's so short! I bought it yesterday and literally finished it in 3 hours lol. And looks like there's gonna be part 3. Man it was so dramatic lol...and seeing American in ruins broke my heart!

Dude, the airport massacre level is so wrong! The game totally could have done without this level lol!

Yeah man that level was very disturbing. They made it so real too. There's guys that throw their hands up in surrender only to be killed and also you can see injured civilians trying to help eachother, and then you just waste em.

I agree that it's wrong. I normally don't talk like this. But I really think we as a civilzation should abhor and try to stop this type of thing, which is going on right now. I mean, if we are being threatened by terrorism, have watched 9/11 and Mumbai unfold before us, are still unable to stop terrorism while our soldiers are being targets, and just enjoy this type of thing, then who is going to stop terrorism? I personally don't think the people of our government are adequate enough to do this all by themselves. I think we have become too numb on violence, and that's really scary.

I like the special ops especially the stealth ones.

shooting on a console fps sucks @$$. I just knife when i play online. Sprint, Marathon, and commando. Thats all you need.

I like it all the time.

I honestly think the first story was better.. The way it ended felt the same... But it's a great game with a cool story.. I wish they shown more of american in ruins lol.. that was definitely not something you see everyday. As for the airport scene.. I was shocked.. I tried not to kill any in the beginning, but then I was like fu-k it.. and started shooting everything in sight.. nice to be a bad guy once in a while lol
