first off, she married some sort of saudi royalty in the early 90's. the prince of dubai or something like that. had 3 kids. then she got a divorce claiming abuse & sexual torture. so then she got a good settlement money out of tht. now she's a talk show host.

anyways... her greatest talent was almost becoming the first miss world the philippines ever had. btw she is with john lloyd cruz now. an award winning pinoy actor.

Could i just add that children born out of wedlock is NOT exclusively a Pinoy issue, look at how black men, children from many women outside marriage. Please look at the broader picture.

ruffa isnt' quite a good singer, but she looks hot and she has learned something:

there is a particular attitude rich and mighty people use to impress (and also control) others. it is related to some factor of "leadership". it is also a way to use language and phrases. there is also a way to create a certain self-conscious "we are all so great" emotion, which is her key factor on stage. every festival host must be able to do this.

but there are people with morals and integrity, and they can have some of this attitude, and do something good with it.
and there are others who just trick their audience, but they are what some of the above descriptions seem to tell.

from watching just the show, it is not easy to know.


basically same problem with politics and government.
until people stop to be so easily impressed with attitude, they will have very questionable persons on top of their entertainment and government...

I don't know how good a person ruffa is, but I would really recommend to observe the "dharma", - the progress and development a person makes. if they have a not-so-beautiful load of "heritage", can they overcome? what is the result of their doings? check the fruit of the tree!
