This is Taiwanese matsuri called Kianchio. (Not lunar new year). According to the author it's held every 12 years. This is his home town called Zuili in Namtau County.

OMG Taiwan is so cool...I would luv to visit that country one day

This picture is actually Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour, no one can mistaken that tall iconic tower called "Central Plaza" of Victoria. i will post some pictures of TW after i got time.

Pingsi, also in Taipei County.
This is the town where there's a festival to fly your own lantern. It's held once a year(Jan 15th of the Lunar calendar) and is limited to this town(in Taiwan). It's really a fire hazard.
