SIX days to go and R&B princess Kyla will go center stage "Kyla - Not Just Your Ordinary Girl" on November 12, 8 p.m. at the 17,000-seater Araneta Coliseum, the biggest live concert venue in the country.

As befits such an important occasion - BUM Equipment and GMA-7 gave Kyla all the support, from the promotions to the choice of guests. Kyla will have Ogie Alcasid, Luke Mejares, Nyoy Volante, Keith Martin, The Manoeuvres and Asia 's Songbird Regine Velasquez, with the special participation of Concert King Martin Nievera with her on her biggest concert to date.

"We think that Kyla is deserving of a big concert like this, and we are confident that the show will be successful," said BUM Equipment executive Nathan Atienza.

"All of us are very excited about her concert," Wilma Galvante, GMA-7's Vice-President for Entertainment, said.

It will be the biggest concert of Kyla's career. "I'm very grateful for all the blessings that have come my way," says Kyla. "I never thought I would be given the chance to do a show at a venue like the Araneta Coliseum so soon. I thought it would be another singer, not me, at least not yet."

Naturally, Kyla is feeling the pressure. The fact that BUM Equipment and GMA 7 chose her is a clear indication that this concert artist is now ready for the big time. "Grabe talaga ang pressure," she says. "But I'm going to try my best to live up to the expectations of my audience and of the BUM and GMA-7 families and the trust they put in me."

Incidentally, Kyla's fourth album, "Not Your Ordinary Girl," under EMI Records, has been recently certified gold. The album has produced three hit singles, "Human Nature," Not Your Ordinary Girl" and "If the Feeling is Gone," an Ella Mae Saison original.

On December 3 and 4, Kyla will be joining Asia 's Songbird Regine Velasquez in her year-ender concert entitled "Reigning Still" at the Araneta Coliseum.

"Kyla - Not Just Your Ordinary Girl" will have Marc Lopez as musical director, script by Noel Ferrer, GM Sampedro as stage director and is presented by BUM Equipment. Co-presentor is GMA-7.
