Do you prefer single-player or multiplayer (of any kind: MMO, co-op, competitive) gaming?

facing human opponents is a whole lot more fun than facing computer ones, but that's the only good thing about multiplayer to me.
i don't really like cooperating with others. and i especially don't like being forced to get on ventrilo/voice chats and hearing nerds speak. i just want to go around killing people on my own.

Depends. If there's a deep story and the game is immersive, then single player is fine.

Same here. I like multi-player if I want to have fun with friends or family, but otherwise I prefer single-player for the immersive experience.

Single. Multiplayer's only good when it works well and is balanced...but when it is, it's sweet.

The voting is all messed up haha.
I think Multi is greater than single cause there is a lot more lasting effects playing with friends or competing with them. Single is def great and all depending on the game, but how long can you play with yourself before you get bored? especially when you already beat a great single game more than once...

I don't like playing with people I don't know, so I like single player.
but if it's with family or friends then I'll share.
