Does anyone in AF possess any e-book? It looks like ebook is the new star electronic toy this year. Is it worth it to own one, how's the service software bundled in those ebooks from Sony, Amazon, etc. like?

ebooks are the worst, i hate reading ebooks for uni, its too much of a hassle, id rather read the book or print off the ebooks.
the only reason i see of owning something that can read ebooks is the piracy notion of it.

Ebooks have limited functionality, non expandable memory and some of them don't support .doc or colour. You can read ebooks on a laptop or some touchscreen smartphones anyway.

So I guess your grandpapa, your ancestors are actually masturbating in their graves now. Good for them, I recommend you should burn some electronic sex toys for them as well.

I think Ipad has set the standard but I'm waiting for something that can do multitasking, with camera and flash, should it be the next Microsoft Courier or HP Slate. Apple is probably at its peak since it attracts huge number of fanboys for its Ipad.

E-books have not really taken off in Australia.
But then again, Oz is usually behind in taking up new technology.
