The difference between China and USA is 60 (79-19) and China can narrow the gap in 60 months.

corruption is part of chinese way of life. You want something done? you have to know the right people and pay the right amount whether your a street vendor or trying to set up a nightclub. Otherwise either the government or the underworld will shut you down. Its just the way of life for thousands of years and i don't see it as corruption.

But government taking money directly from tax payers, now that is big fu-king corruption.

A misleading thread title.



China's on the list of the "Seven Most Corrupt Country ETF's" and somehow it becomes spun into a thread title that makes it appear as if China is one of the better-off nations.

79th is nothing to be proud of.



Consider that this means that fully 1/5 of the world's population exists under the world's 79th-ranked economies.

As of right now, China is in the top half of the nations that is the least corrupted.

With improvement in several years, China will be less corrupted, similar to Korea and Taiwan.

and corruption perception doesn't mean anything. a guy taking bribes at a dmv ranks higher than legislators stealing hundreds of billions
