Ok, as some of you already know, Im seeing a filipina, and I appreciate those that particapated in helping me with some standard tagalog.
Anyway, what would be something to give her instead of flowers in appreciation of her compainship. I sorta got feelings for her, and Im feeling it on her side, so what would be something that would blow away a native Filipino?? I say Native because she has lived there for 19 years and now she is 25, but still has heavy roots representing.

a teddy bear AND red and white roses?
I don't want to pressume that we have the same taste, okay? ...me, i'd like to receive an item for my collection... [in this case, owls in silver (jewelry or ornament

)] or a book by Heinlein hahaha
of course if you give a book, pack it with a bunch of flowers...

i don't know, what is it that is dear to her? in terms of hobby or what does she like?

You can give her a Message in a Bottle...

This is quite a unique gift and a great way for you to say thank you or any other special message.
If you want to... i can make the message.

Hahah A green card. She's legal
Hmmm a message in a bottle would be a first I would say.
Well, she likes to dance, she likes movies, she loves R&B, she likes jewelry. Flowers and a bear would be cool but I wanna do something outta the ordinary but with full passion behind it.

wahahaha pancit!
it's easy...
look/buy pancit bato, soysauce, cooking oil, onions, garlic and fried fish.
sautee garlic and onions till a bit brown, add soy sauce, add fried fish, add enough water to cook pancit, simmer then add pancit and lo and behold! you can choose to have a bit of sauce with your pancit so add more than enough water or you can have dry pancit.
fried fish is just to enhance the taste... so one fish will do.
Even people in manila is not familiar with this pancit bato unless they know a bikolano... so i guess you'll find it difficult to find this type of pancit there also.
oh, tagaytay and boracay are so commercialized already...

Hmmm, I will have to go to a local asian mart to see what I can do here. Im feeling the pancit idea, or even adobo.
By the way, the whole tagaytay or boracay sounds really nice and I wouldnt mind going there myself, but if I were to present that idea to the miss, I think she would run for the hills, seeing that we only been seeing eachother for about two weeks. No pressure ya know,

instant pancit canton is real easy... 3 steps... comes with the packaging. hahahaha

in most countries in the world regardless of race people sadly tend to look down on poor people...even whites look down on poor whites...I don't think it's afilipino think...plus I was saying that since u seem to champion so much the minorities/etc in the Phillipines I was wondering how come u said (and I quote);
"if they cant speak english they aint worth talking to coz they poor"
that to me is saying u don't think a poor person is worth it lol
oh yeah also in most countries people look down on the darker skin and conflict between the dominant religion and the minorities are alaso present....again most countries in the world are like this...I don't think it's only or particularly a problem in the Phillipnes....it's everywhere lol

why dont u tell me that status of english language in the philippines and how it relate to social class mexican?
2 wrongs dont make a right. u can never solve your country problem by saying, oh well, other people do it. that is the same and only arguement filipinos got when someone try to address their country/s problems.
filipnos have problems with corrupt government. Oh well other countrys got corruption too.....
how tha fu-k does that help allievate the problem are u tackling it? no ur just trying to write it off. that is just accepting it. fuk bahala na! stupid fatalistic chumps.

True this kind of thing also happens in China, Korea and Japan. Hey Filipinos here’s something you can claim you have in common with the rest of Asia.
