More Chinese Cities Reach $10,000 Per-Capita GDP

Eleven Chinese cities now boast per-capita GDP of more than US$10,000. The combined population of the cities is more than 100 million people. The Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) said on Sunday that five Chinese cities -- Ningbo, Dalian, Weihai, Zhuhai and Beijing -- have reached the $10,000 per-capital GDP level.

IT IS IMPORTANT YOU IDIOTS

Why?

IMF defines a "Developed City" as having GDP per capita above $10,000.

So, more cities in China are becoming "developed cities" according to the strict International Monetary Fund (IMF) definition.

fu-king retards

----------------

Shenzhen probably has the highest GDP per capita.... folllowed by maybe Beijing and Shanghai.

Zhuhai's GDP per capita of $10K is in stark contrast with Macau SAR's $60K.... haha. or HK's $36K
