How come the UN didn't give ROC a seat huh?

It could have been Two Chinas, one PRC and one ROC, just like NK and SK.

Pls, don't give me an already tried and true reason: Well, PRC is the legitimate China (since it's bigger, Soviet boycott, opening up relations with West, China won the civil war.... )

Just like Korean war is not over and there is two Korean states, There could have been only ONE korea: South Korea as the legitimate ruler of Korea.

Why didn't the UN just create a PRC for PRC, and have kept the ROC seat as ROC seat.

PRC is the successor to the Qing Dynasty and ROC on the mainland.

The ROC still exists and still governs Chinese territory that is KMT owned even before the fall of the Mainland.

So why not 2 Chinas?

even when it was actually half like Liao/Jin and Song, they advertise them self as legit and not the other. neither side acknowledge there could be 2 middle kingdoms.

This is what happens when losers of war retreat - they waste resources. Time and resources are wasted over this Taiwan problem which should have concluded back in 1949 - but did not thanks to US intervention.

US should have never intervened in Chinese affairs - she should have allowed the Civil war to conclude because whoever controlled the Mainland was the victor anyways.

Taiwan is in a pretty $hitty situation anyways - I'm not sure if US really thought it thoroughly when it came to the aid of Taiwan in 1949.

although i agree that if they were true Chinese nationalists, they should have acknowledged they lost and willingly given up. should have been their decision to hand over the UN seat to the PRC. should be their move to return to China. there shouldnt be 2 countries with official names with "China" in it.
