PSP uses 1.4 gb mini discs and ds uses some kind of card.

I've seen and played the DS and laugh at the fact it's nothing special.

there should be a way to backup psp games so in the long run you'll be saving alot of money and when has PS ever steer you wrong. go with the PSP

PSP maybe $50 more, but you GET more with it.
I don't see the DS playing movies and MP3s and also games.
I don't care what anyone says, but if i'm on a car trip and I have a PSP which can give me some game time, movie time, and music time? I'll be happy as hell.

I can't remember where it was might have just been another forum but the price of the PSP should be $179.99. I'll probably go witht the PSP but I'll wait untill I can compare them both before I make my decision.
Edit: Apparently it was this forum that I read the post about it being 180 bucks. few pages back
