Definitely Utada, Ayu, Koda, Chemistry is nice until when i was downloading there songs the stupid chemistry fan people cut me off from downloading and crashed my comp.... lol .... And im a follower of Namie Amuro shes sooooo cool.... thers soemthing about japanese pop that is different from Korean or American pop... perhaps its the "atmosphere"?

Anyways, I do like J-pop singers, but not get obsessed like teh wapanese do.
I like BeForU (yes, it's an actual j-pop girl band even though they're a Konami in-house).
By the way, Hikaru Utada as well. Ironic that she's a low profile among her fellow New Yorkers.
Sadly, that's the only name I can remember.

I've seen tons of anime
fanboys (mostly) who have a Japanese username in forums, pretend to be Japanese; but the bottomline is that they start to have pedophiliac tendencies with the Japanese culture.

Ah, anime fanboys. They are an entity at my college. You can pick out the normal people from the anime fanboys by their black t-shirts adorned with *insert anime character here*, baggy pants, and messy hair. Some even take Japanese I and II! It's funny how they try to pass that class but usually drop it to take Spanish.

Koda Kumi, Ayumi, and although I think she probably is more jrock, I also really like Nanase Aikawa. She's one I never heard talked about anywhere, but definately my favorite.
