Now come to think about it I have never seen Mongolian restaurants anywhere outside of china, there are lots asian restaurants of chinese, japanese, indian, thai and even some viet or korean origins in the western world. Also inside of china there are many tibetan, mandchurian, hui, uyghur (and others) restaurants in many places but mongolian restaurants are somewhat of rare finds outside of inner mongolia.

I seen one labelled as one before but it was just typical, chinese/japanese, mish-mash crap that was only "mongolian" in name.

Maybe the one was making "Mongolian" barbecue?

Lol All the place was called was "Mongolian Restaurant", but the only thing they got right, was they served booze.

So then, tell me what type of food would you expect to see in a Mongolian food establishment, outside of Asia?

fu-k, not you again. I'd atleast expect some buuz, Khuushuur, guriltai shol and the like.
