I'm a 20 year old gay Asian male. I have a pretty flat and wide face (my head is almost squarish in face). I think I inherited my dad's facial structure. I'm pretty insecure with my looks. My female best friend says I am good looking (her mom thought I was handsome when looking through her photo album and her roommate in college thought I was handsome). However, I just don't find myself attractive. I have decent facial features, but I think the flat, wide face spoils it (there seems to be too space from each of my eyes to the side of my head). I've lost a lot of weight the past year, but my face is still pretty wide (though I have a strong jawline).
Do you think this would be a problem if I were to find a potential partner? Has anyone else felt that their face was too flat or too wide/round? A lot of Asian females have this feature, but do you think it could look okay on men? It seems like the most attractive asian men in the news (Leehom Wang, Takeshi) have fairly long and angular faces.
