Do Mongols celebrate Mid Autumn festival ( 中秋) today like korean and vietnam ?
No we don't,we have our independent day's celebration.We kicked China's @$$ so hard.It's good celebration day for me lol

Chinese celebrate it because they won thier independence from Mongol Yuan Empire! They inserted secret messages in to the moon cake, and give it to their friends and family members as a gift. This trick really escaped from the survilliance of Mongol soliders. The fu-king message said we will kill all Mongols during the night at the same time! Chinese rebellions also give mooncakes and alchol to Mongol soldiers. During the night when Mongol soldiers became drunk and fall into asleep, those fu-king Chinese rebellions killed their Mongol masters and native Mongol governor.

That a lot of problem if you want to mention it again in the modern day.
It should became a video games, comic or movie where everyone can enjoy it as entertainment, not a reason for revenge and hatred.
Or it will became like never ending Middle Eastern Muslims and European Christians conflict.
Buddhism teaching teach us to forgive, to cut never ending karmic cycle.
