I haven't done any research so was interested in your thoughts. Could there be oil on Mars? It's a big-@$$ planet, I heard it might be able to support life, I heard they found water on it and that it could have supported life in the past. So I figure, dead critters and vegetation = oil.
Can you imagine the epic lulz that would transpire if they discovered a big-@$$ oil field on Mars. It'd be the space-race x 9000!

most likely not. nobody found liquid water yet, although they found mineral composition that hint water material forming million of years ago. the northern pole of mars is a vast icy crust, but those aren't liquid oceanic water like earth. it contains different chemical composition.
and you don't need to go to mars to find oil. titan, one of the moon on saturn, is rich with oil, liquid hydrocarbon, and natural gas lke methane and ethane. probably 3x as much as earth's whole natural gas and oil reserve.
