"This is from the first ever Vietnamese and Thai co-production drama, "Tinh Xa" (Distant Love). The drama is in both Thai and Vietnamese and is about a girl who travels from Vietnam to Thailand to train in dance.
This is one snippet from drama towards the end but basically, the Vietnamese girl and the Thai man have decided not to see each other anymore and this is his engagement party with his fiance. Unknowing to her, she is randomly hired to be a traditional Thai dancer at the party. I'm Vietnamese but I love all things Thai and SE Asian. It's actually illegal in Vietnam (prostitution) and its tourism economy doesn't depend on sex visits. Cambodia, Laos and Thailand on the other hand NEEDS sex tourists (Lao girls going to Thailand).
