american stars are famous everywhere and other asian stars get the same treatment everywhere so I don't see the difference in them liking korean stars

Ehhh... Just let them be. Just respect them for who they like. Winter Sonata was a big hit, and Asian people love Korean Drama series, therefore loving the actors & actress more for their performance, and probably for their looks also.

Hmm..what's that actor's name again? I never understood why everyone was so crazy over him. He's not very good-looking. Maybe because he's always portraying those rich, suave, gentleman roles.

Bae Yong Joon... there are a number of other better looking korean stars than him. but he has an unexplainable charm to the women i guess. Song Seung Hyun, Won Bin, Jang Dong Gun, Go Su, Kwon Sang Woo, Ahn Jae Wook, Ryu Si Won, Ryu Jin, Kim Jae Won, Kim Rae Won and a number of others are better looking than him IMO.

He's like any other guy, he lift weights.. and what else? Haha that's all I saw on Section TV. He was working out at a gym, he's totally a different person off-screen. He actually looked rougher and just himself. He was like, "you never seen this side of me..huh?". The interview was pretty interesting, I never seen this side of him before. Although he always plays out to be charming and feminine when he's on-screen. You really can't figure out what kind of person he is when he's in a crowd of fans (especially them old people) or meeting Japan.. China.. But he has a charming smile that gets people to like him. I mean if you want more attention, you should smile. It works miracles. Bae Yong Joon's a good actor, well that's what really got him to where he is now.

Yeah I have to agree with Theta, there are better korean actors than BYJ or better looking ones too haha, but Winter Sonata was great, so I can see why he's so popular now.

I've seen the photoshoot for that pic on section tv & good morning entertainment, he just has a lot of dirt on him, he still looked the same, nothing deceitful. Pretty creepy though. It's just a photoshoot anyway. You jus never know what's hidden behind those clothes.

He is absolutely overrated in his looks. I watched his series and he's looks so old and haggard. Maybe he has charisma? I don't see it. There's many other hot Korean actors to drool over, but he is not it.
