This bad stuff happens in Indonesia DEL and you should condemn the bad elements and praise the ones making a difference. That goes for every race, nationality, culture or religion in any country. He does this posting to all other ethnics on Asiafinest.com. Bad news about people doing crimes sell news in the media. He has to understand that the bad elements are not reflection on the majority good people not making news daily.

I look at it this way...... if Galvatron was all-out to bring bad vibes to the forum, then he would not be bothering to report trolls and spammers.

just that, most come here to talk about the fun things of the country and talk with eachother in a friendly and calm way.
We dont come to this forum to look for negative news like this and discuss about it.

For as i see, this happens everywhere. If i want to see this, i look at my own national news channels here in Europe.

Ralf, it is very heart-warming indeed to know that galvatron is playing a part reporting trolls and spammers. But I think there also has to be some quality control with members' topics in the Chats. The problem we have with him is that he has hardly posted any positive news in MYChat (maybe in IndoChat as well? But in other Chats he's more gracious). Maybe that wouldn't be too bad if he actually participated in the topics he created, but no. From the very rare instances when he has communicated with me, his hard feelings against the government (and maybe the Malays and Muslims as well?) is apparent.

We have no problem with criticisms... but it has to be constructive. Which is why I am only at most supporting a warning for galvatron.

Secondly, this is the worst kind of spamming. Because he is not selling viagra, but he deliberately and intentionally trying to provoke or incite some kind of arguments, sometimes this is leading to inter-national arguments.

I hope he's man (or woman) enough to be responsible and continue the discussion and had better intention, not just throwing dirt around or creating a $hit-storm then hide. Most of the time he just initiate by creating a bad-news threads and post a first post about whatever whenever as he please. Feed us with rubbish (well, not always) most of the time. We don't need that kinda things here, we already have our newspapers and television.

I don't see why everyone is so offended by the OP's article O.O. It's not like the article's fake. The OP should have every right to post articles/news related to the Chat he's posting in as long as the article is credible/true. Why should the OP be banned? He didn't break any forum rules as far as I can see.

I would actually agree with you. It is his right to post these articles. It is our right to ignore them.

Hi CD, though I understand your position, I think AF should still try to be a free forum for all to post any issues be it racial, religious or music and jokes, to uphold the freedom of speech/expression which a basic human right too. I fail to see the concern expressed here regarding Galvatron:

1. As he offends no one in particluar except those who are shamed by the truth, such as the sufferings of the non Malays, for these people and their supporters are the most vocal against Galvatron.

2. Kumanddie who typically posts desparaging and lies about Christians and other non Muslim/Islam issues is allowed with totally impunity so far, I am referring to the thread he started HAARP. Yet I wouldn't recommend a ban on him or his ilks and there are a few of them.

May I suggest that fairness and equal opportunity to all and uphold freedom of expression/speech be observed regardless of the content, wouldn't you agree? As to the often repeated call to post in the serious section, let's face it, there is hardly any traffic there. It is not attention grabbing as claimed why we post outside the serious section. It is to get maximum exposure for these issues as there are infinitely more traffic here.
