I don't think it's necessary to go through pain to get beautiful eyes. You can always apply faux lashes and maybe eye make-up to create a beautiful look instead of going through sugery.

people with naturally beautiful eyes can rub their eyes hard and it would still look pretty.

If you rely on faux lashes and make up your eyes might not look pretty after you rub at it. Naturally beautiful eyes are not only beautiful they are also tough. you can rub your eyes as hard as you want, but after you stop rubbing it, your eyes will go back to its natural beautiful shape.

I remember when my mother and uncle were in their 70's, the upper part of their eyelids had drooped so far that they did surgery to restore the fold of their double lids because they were having problems seeing. Seeing pictures of them just before the surgery got me wondering. Since there is surgery to create double eyelids, anyone know if there is surgery to change a double to a single?

I hope to never have a surgeon near my eyelids - once at age 5 was memorable enough! But I can just imagine some crazy causcasian otaku going for it and looking really bizarre afterward

I have to agree with the first person who replied to this thread.

I don't rely on make-up too much and I don't want to. (My eyes are good looking enough in my opinion.) When I put on make-up, it's only moderate, to help enhance something not to alter something. Girls who put on a ton of make-up are liars. When they take it off DANG!!! WHOLE NEW PERSON!!! Seriously.. I know girls like that and I have friends like that too. I have friends who draw fake eyelids LOL!!! Looks ridiculous.. Then I have a ton of friends who like to put on false lashes that goes out like one inch long (are you freaking serious? )... when they really don't have lashes.

Maybe for Halloween or something, I wouldn't mind going crazy but on normal days? That's a little too much...
