We hear all the time about skinny girls who think they're fat but this blog is so true about fat people who think they're normal. I know fat people who think they're normal... They don't say it but their clothes tell me they think they look normal enough to wear skin tight tube tops, and little short shorts, and other things they should be more careful about. If you're overweight and want to wear those things, make sure they're at least fitting to your size and shape. Don't try to go down a few sizes thinking you look okay in them.
This is not to put down fat girls because they're fat but because they don't know how to dress properly and they don't know that they're overweight and should wake up from that.
http://www.diet-blog.com/10/poll_are_you_b...true_weight.phpHere's an article from USA TODAY that talks a little about it in the beginning. The rest of the article is interesting.

Whenever I see those types of women, I always assumed they just didn't give a $hit about what people thought. It boggles my mind to think that people don't know theyre fat. I can understand if guys feel that way cuz society lets guys be meatier and its concidered " manly" lol.
Theres this fat black girl in my gym and her @$$ is almost as wide as she is tall and she wears these light grey tights. Its so tight that you can even see her cellulite!!! b!tch needs to wear some baggy @$$ sweats. Gross.

I know what you mean..
I don't want to sound mean, but it's true... Fat people that are too confident in the things they wear. Is it wrong for me to think they shouldn't wear what they want?
Meaty guy? I prefer my guy ripped

let them wear what they want. you don't have to look any longer than a glance, if it bothers you. any fat or chunky girl should be encouraged to wear tight cloths, it actually helps the extra baggage from gaining a permanent sag overtime, which builds up bad wrinkles and lines. you have to consider the climate in your area, if it's a warm-hot climate most year round, maybe it's a way to cool off?
as for fat guys, I don't think that's a norm. they have as much issues as fat girls, which leads me to say fat guys and fat girls are a perfect fit for eachother.
now a girl with meat and curves within the average or little below the average height is my choice. not the anorexic ones, not the fat ones, not the hot-slutty-sexy body type ones, not the ones with muscles. a natural woman is a feminine, voluptuous, curvaceous, and fertile woman.

I heard a lot of clothes in America are increasing in size but still use the same categories (small, medium, large, etc.). In other words, a "medium" in America may actually be considered "large" in another country. It is the companies' way of making fat people feel good about themselves.
What is even more pathetic are the ones who have "fat pride." Why would anyone be proud of being unhealthy?

I'm guilty!

I used to have a best friend that wore medium sized shirts when she should have been wearing a XXL or at least a XL. I always thought to myself where she bought all her shirts from 'cause they seem to stop right above her navel.

I hate it when I see people wearing clothes x times too small for them. I was in the gym with a friend the other day while others were taking exams, and this one girl had on a really tight shirt, and under it you could see her rolls. I'm not trying to criticize, as I'm a pretty skinny person and definitely can't caste judgement on others, but I do think there are some things that are better left unseen (like my skinny legs or her rolls).

The other day I was repulsed by a woman whose overly ample "muffin top" was hanging below the hem of her shirt when she stood up straight. It was a work uniform that fit her otherwise, though.
Something to temper the criticism with is the fact that when you are fat, you have very little choice in clothing unless you are willing to spend far more than most people. You can either wear something too small that binds horribly or something large enough with no shape at all - basically a sloppy tent of whatever length.
When you hear that sizes are getter larger that is misleading. What they mean is that stores are carrying larger sizes than they used to stock. The sizes themselves are not changing, except when a sweat shop shorts the material or screws up the manufacturing some other way.
But I agree there is no excuse for when it doesn't cover the body it is supposed to cover, or the clothes are so small you wonder how they manage to breathe, much less move. And in a gym, there is no excuse, because its not supposed to be a fashion issue (though for a lot of people it still is). If you can't find something nice that fits properly, give in to sweats.

Is a Lane Bryant medium the same as a Armani Exchange medium?

Sure, let them wear what they want. I just don't want to, after having breakfast, come to Walmart and seeing 6 out of 10 females with half of their breasts and guts hanging loose while a third of their thongs showing. Doesn't bother my ego at all, but it may not be so kind to my stomach.

Yeah it is so disgusting when Fat girls wear smaller sizes. I hate that because they take all the small sizes at the stores and I get stuck with size Large when Im a small. Fat girls always tend to hate the most of skinny girls like me. They are so jealous its gross. SORRY YOU CAN'T be skinny and pretty like some.

i think the BMI scales are a little outdated. people who are on the low - mid range of the "healthy range" on most online BMI calculators who are like sticks... unless u are shorter than average. for men at least, i dont know about women haha, but i have a friend who is skinny enough to not really do heavy resistance training on her abs, yet her abs still show, and she is not in low end of her "healthy range" bmi, this is kinda scary considering she's skinny enough for me to see her abs when she doesnt really have much muscle to begin with...
but back on topic, its scary when super fat people wear skin tight clothes.
