I'm not sure if you guys have noticed this as well. i was watching this programme last night which featured this really attractive asian american woman talking about her family and such, and as they were about to introduce her family, i was expecting the inevitable, but to my surprise her husband was asian . then it dawned on me how absurd it is, that its a shock to see an attractive asian woman in the media married to an asian guy.

Its incredible how an AW/WM couple has become so entrenched in the media that seeing what is actually supposed to be normal comes as a shock.

When I see Asian girls, 99% of the time they're with Asian guy. even the short, nerdy ones. but that's sweet. cus those are the good guys who stay with you and take care of you no matter what.

Out of the 1% I see with white guys, 99% of them are a 30 something ugly/plain looking Asian woman with an old ugly white man. Come to think of it, if I was walking around white guys, like old friends from school or whatever, it'll probably be quite a rare sight for other people. fortunately that rarely happens for me anyway outside my uni campus

I know you Asian guys would probably pat each other on the back of one of your "bros" got with a geniunely superhot Asian or white girl, as silly as this sounds I think it's about time the Asian girls in the UK did that. I'm not saying me or one of my friends, in particular, just that, if that happened more often, we wouldn't have such a reputation for walking around with short, scrawny nerdy Asian guys or ugly old desperate white guys. Praise the Lord, but I genuinely have yet to see an Asian girl in the UK with an attractive guy. The closest I've seen is probably my friend who went out with an Italian guy for a year but even then, his face wasn't all that.

Man some of you guys are just as brainwashed as white washed Asian females or males. I have no trouble attracting other pretty attractive Asian females, but then again I already have a beautiful Asian Indonesian girlfriend.
Let me get this straight. I have no problem with Asian females falling in love with some one else white black whatever or true interracial love. I know some from work/personal friendships and it seems genuine. I do snicker and avoid the white washed sellout types or white guy Asian fetishers who exclude and avoid their own race for some reason. They are true sellouts and fetishers. I snicker when those relationships fizzle/break up and the white guy leaves the female with their half Asian child.

If you are a nerdy Asian guy, I suggest a total makeover in your looks, haircut and personality if you want to find that Asian female to love.

It depends on the region. America's Asiatic population isn't that big except for that of Hawaii, California, Washington, and a few big cities. Honolulu, San Francisco, and San Jose are the only major American cities where Asians are greater than 25% of the population. Most big American cities are at most 5% Asian.

Anyway, I live in Texas where there isn't a lot of Asiatic women who are compatible with me for the following reasons:
1. Most tend to be FOB immigrants from Vietnam and China who would struggle to communicate with me. You cannot have a meaningful relationship if you can't communicate with your partner. I had this experience with a Korean foreign student about four years ago. She only knew broken English while I did not know Korean.
2. A lot of them are foreign students who come for the universities. These people tend to be graduate students who are older than me. I am 22 years old. Many of them already have someone back in their country.
3. Few Asiatics in the state of Texas were born and raised in America or some other Anglo-sphere country.

You said you live in England, right? I heard Asiatics are very insignificant in Europe. Europe's immigrants tend to be Middle Easterners, South Asians, and Africans. IMO, Asiatics in Europe should relocate to Oceania and North America to help bolster the Asiatic communities there. Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the northwestern United States have the best chances of becoming Asiatic.



I heard East Asian women prefer nerds who have degrees in engineering or some other technical field. They are the opposite of American women who prefer physical strength. Hence why it is usually nerdy white American guys who hook up with East Asian women. I have never seen a redneck or a hippie with an Asiatic girlfriend.

Look we both have the same problem. I experience the exact same three points you mentioned...except, it's not even they don't exist, my family alone knows quite a lot of these multicultered Asians but I just personally don't have many in my life. It wasn't like it was a choice it just happened to be this way. Main point is, I don't care too much. You're only 22, you can't be desperate yet to settle down?

I'm not sure about engineering in particular, but the Asians over here love the finance/economics/maths geeks (or whatever degree that gets them into banking) It's absolutely fine to date a nerdy guy, I'm just saying, us Asian girls have no variety in who we date and this has become our rep. You don't support interracial relationships in general, or just when an Asian girl is in one? Interracial relationships are refreshing to see when it's not a creepy pairing or an obvious fetish/desperate pairing. As rare as it is, I have no problem in seeing Asian guys with white girls. If the girl is still true to her roots, a nice genuine person, does it matter to you whether she's dating a whitie or not?

I'm not desperate. When it comes to relationships, I am more on the traditional side. I have no interest in one-night stands or casual dating. If people only want to get laid, they should just masturbate. What the world doesn't need is more STDs and miserable illegitimate children.

that's interesting.. you are entitled to your opinion, i mean im not white im not about to go off on a tangent about it being racist/ignorant..cus i think asians are little more realistic, smarter when it comes to issues. even it it may not seem fair. if i did see an asian person walking around london trying to strut their white bf to me whilst looking at me and trying to get my attention to show off or whatever..that is certainly annoying. otherwise, it's rare. and chances are, the most i see asian girls walking around with white guys would probably be me, and im not even dating any white guys i know (wont even consider fyi)lol

It's true that if one were to examine real life, you'd find that most Asian-American girls are with Asian-American guys. Some AA girls are with non-Asians, and some AA guys are with non-Asians as well.

However, IN THE MEDIA, AA guys simply don't exist (except as hilariously retro stereotypes), and AA girls only exist as silver/bronze medals for beta male white guys.

On the other hand, I have seen 80+ white guy/asian girl couples. (Many of them are already married and have kids.)

I have. I think the difference in their height & weight was a more of a shock for me than the race difference.
One was about 4"11" and maybe 115 lbs at the most. His partenr was about 6' and well over 200 lbs. Till the night I saw them together I had never thought of the first one being particularly short.


So, AsiaticGlory, where are you in Texas that you don't see Asian women? The Piney Woods or the Panhandle? I would say until you are willing to do some casual dating to get to know people, you are going to find things difficult anywhere. Casual dating is not necessarily the same thing as casual sex, so drop the paranoia about STDs.

I'm not interested in revealing the exact city where I am located. Although I will say it does have some Asians. It is not like Sugarland or Bellaire (Houston) or Plano (Dallas) but there is still more than a few Asians here. Like I said before, I am traditional on the issue of relationships. I never said I was interested in those kinds of girls. In fact, that is part of the reason why there is a shortage of available Asian women from where I live. Too many Asians these days have no values.

I am not desperate either. I take pride in being a quiet nerd and I don't want to waste my time with someone who wants me to be something else.
