I know a guy who wears fur on his hoodie do you think this acceptable fashion wise? or "dumb" because most sites say that its not good etc.. mainly due to fur being bad, but some people think it looks hot and it depends on the person, honestly I think asians can pull it off better in general, also the fur is faux fur so lets not go there, my friend and I think differently about fashion and would like to know what you think..

Fur is pretty vague for those of us who like fur. Close cropped or longer? There is a big difference between a fuzzy faux mink and fluffy faux fox.

As long as it winter, or at least cool weather, most guys can carry off fur pretty well. But if the weather doesn't justify it, then they look a bit odd to me.... more so than a woman who is wearing it as an accessory. Odd way to think about it though. I think its just a matter of being more accustomed to women wearing fur when it isn't needed for warmth.

a coat with a fur-trimmed hood would be alright. but walking around with a full fur coat would make me feel like a pimp.

sometimes it works for the guy, sometimes it doesn't. it really depends. as a rule of thumb..no fur for guys.....but there are exceptions i'm sure.

coats wise..i think the double breasted, v collar coats are good for most men, in navy blue or black. macs are okay for some..but generally look better fitted on women i think. or for a guy who's a little edgy or younger..a dark coloured duffle coat may suit him. depends on his figure and face.

Is this because a lot of Asian men look more effeminate?
