DOUBLEMINT
Itano Tomomi only ranked 8th?Not fair! What happened? Her agency screwed up?

I didn't know they put all the groups together on the list. Maybe we can't call it "AKB48 Senbatsu"? Matsui Rena did pretty good. While it's a fun way for the fans to participate in AKB48's path, I feel bad for those who dropped or didn't even make it on the list. =/

Four girls gain position on her: yukirin, Mayuyu, Kojiharu and takamina.
It may be partly because she plays the bad girl on Majisuka Gahuen 2.

On the bright side, she did get to do a Solo "Dear J."

AKB48 3rd Senbatsu Top 2 speech

Senbatsu is out of almost 300 girls. eek.gif Yeah, the AKB organization is really milking it. They make all that money and promotion just in selecting the girls for the next PV.

Matsui Rena is super cute. She is the perfect good girl with a little "bad" inside. Even though she is officially SKE48, She is practically Akb48; she appears regularly on AKB48 shows and she has been in every PV for the last three years.

^Majisuka Gakuen 2. She is convincing as a blood thirsty lunatic. embarassedlaugh.gif

My usual image of her is this: love2.gif

She does have a dark side.
She told a fellow AKB48 member "To get what you want from a staff members.... all you have to do is cry."
I actually find the dark ones more interesting!
DOUBLEMINT
Oshima Yuko's new hairdo bothers me.

^ Is that a new Haircut? I can't even tell. embarassedlaugh.gif

I never liked Yuko, She has too many vulgar points to be center.

Maeda Atsuko(Acchan) on the other hand was born to take center stage. I also find third place Kashiwagi Yuki(Yukirin) extremely cute and sexy.
DOUBLEMINT
Kashiwagi Yuki, she is sexy.Is she very popular in japan? How did she get third place?I still feel like Itano Tomomi deserves it more. But Im very biased. tongue.gif

^ I think it's because of her group "French Kiss". Yukirin is the center of that group and they go on a lot of TV shows to promote themselves. She is a very good talker but more important, she can capture peoples attention thru her facial expressions and reactions. So, even when she is not talking, people are paying attention to her.

Tomochin on the other hand is not a talker, she's best as a fashion model/designer which is what she wants to be. She really doesn't want to be on Variety talk shows and try to be funny.

By the way, Tomochin was the first AKB girl to catch my eye. I saw her in this video which led me to discover AKB48( I knew about them for years yet I never watched a single video or TV show!) embarassedlaugh.gif
Now, they are all over my sig eek.gif

I dont watch many of their tv shows cuz they speak so fast I cant even catch up with the subtitiles.Thats probably why I didnt really get to know Yukirin. When it comes to look, she is the kind of girl that makes me wonder what she will look like when she grow up,like 25.Some girls you just know how they would look when they get older. But Yukirin is the kind you cant be sure I think. madcool.gif

^ True. a good hint is to look at the mother. I don't know about the other members but I did see a picture of Kojiharu's mother-beautiful lady, Kojiharu is going to be pretty for life!

Congratulations to everyone

And thanks to everyone too -- glad to see that theres a few people who can see through my occasional outbursts/frustration and take it into stride. I say this because I got a few votes from people I certainly didnt expect
