An ex-GRO, who claims to have over 3.8mil yuan (RM1.78mil) savings, is looking for a husband in China.
"Also, I have a BMW car, jewelley and luxury watches that were given to me by my customers.
"With all this money, we can live comfortably in a small town," wrote the woman, whose nickname was Tanhua – which also means number three in the examination.
Tanhua had worked for three years at Tian Shang Ren Jian – the biggest nightclub in Beijing before it was closed by the authorities in a major crackdown on vice activities last year.
(The nightclub had a few hundred xiaojie (GROs), mostly undergraduates who spoke English and other foreign languages.)
Tanhua started her article with: "If I can, I wish to write down my confession, for myself, also those I loved before and those whom I love."
She said she passed the National College Entrance Examination with the third highest marks in her city and went into a popular university in Beijing.
But she quit three years later and started working at the nightclub.
"After the premises was closed down, I went to Tibet, Yunnan, Europe and even Africa but the more I travelled, the more confused I became.
"I don't know what I should do and what I can do."
And now, she was ready to settle down.
"After all, I'm only a woman who needs a shoulder to cry on.
"I just want an ordinary man, someone who doesn't mind my past. This person, where are you?"
