What do u think determines whether one will look nice in long hair?

Primary factor: Youth. Personally I think older women in general look better with short hair.

Secondary factor: Height. If you're short, very long hair can make you appear shorter.

Other: Face. Some faces look better with shorter hair than longer.

i prefer girls with long hair.. last nite my gf called me and said she got a hair cut, i hope its not too short

i think you look more feminine with long hair, and more tomboyish/cute with short bobs for girls.

i like long hair because you can just do more styles with it and i like to twiddle with my hair!

She looks really fabulous, because obviously she's beautiful with what ever style she pleases, but I saw her today, playing on the piano while letting her hair go, my heart was moving at a abnormal rate. Long hair must somehow be sexually appealing to most males, by scientific standards.

Anyways, I go with what Starry says..b/c I do think that it depends on the structure of the face.

if the shape/structure of your face is too wide or short, then having long hair helps to lengthen it or make it look smaller. having long hair makes you look more feminine, mature, more sexy and it look good with whatever clothes you wear, but maybe these aren't always the case. I think ALL girls look good with long hair. can't say the same about guys tho *shivers* lol

I think it definitely depends on face shape. Big, round faces look best with long hair whereas thin faces look better with shorter hair. I disagree about older women looking better with short hair, I think too many older women chop their hair off. When I'm an old granny I'm going to have long hair and put it in a bun.

Ya I chopped my hair once that's because I had to cut off all the damaged part from "dying, hairspray, perms and deadends was galore" to my shoulder length I wasn't digging it, but I also had noticed the difference in girls reaction they were friendlier when I had short hair versus mi long mane... anyboo now I just rock out my mane long and naturally less headaches tis reminds me to wash my hair tonight its been seven days since

i feel all girls with long hair should own a straightening and curling iron. i hate seeing nappy hair and most long-haired people who do nothing with their hair when they go out look like that. i'm just not into the messy, bedhead look.

I had long hair and I cut it this summer cuz of all the split ends. It's getting LONG! YEAH! But as you can see in my avatar it is Black and so pretty but when it was long the ends were brownish-red

I think girls with narrower faces look better with long hair and girls with round faces can pull off the short hair look.

a big no no!...ok maybe it's just me, but i find guys with long hair somewhat scary, especially asian guys, i can't stand it! and anyway some guys' facial features just don't look right with long hair.

one thing i observed is that when guys grow their hair, they usually have really good quality hair, smooth long shampoo ad hair like hair, walking around, blowing in the wind, and from behind you would think it's a lovely girl then he turn around and *yikes*

IMO if a girl decides to have long hair she should really care for it. Besides, the hair must be kinda thick and full, cuz thin hair gets lank quickly especially when you keep your hair long and that doesn't look nice. So girls with thin and little hair should go for a shortcut..
