Agnes didn't win panasonic award, it was Tamara who won it, thanks to her divorce case but Agnes 2 performaces in that show was awesome

So I've heard her album is out noW

Agnes has launched her 2nd album “Whaddup A?” on December 10th @ RCTI in a show titled “Kamu & Kamu”. She sang brand new songs such as:
1. Tak Ada Logika (upbeat song)
2. Kamu & Kamu
3. Cintaku Diujung Jalan
4. Tak Bisa (rock)
5. Dan Tak Mungkin (beautiful mellow song)
6. Bukan Milikmu Lagi (upbeat song)
and also some of songs from her first album such as ‘Jera’ and ‘Cinta Mati’. I must say that it was a very superb show she’s ever made. There’s this person in her yahoogroup wanted to sell the DVD of the show and I ordered it today. The album has already available in stores and as I promised, I’ll send it to you.

I think I made some mistakes when I wrote my post before. At first I thought ‘Dan Tak Mungkin’ = ‘Bukan Milikmu Lagi’ cos it contains lyric similar like ‘Bukan milikmu/untukmu’. In the fact, they’re 2 different songs.

If I’m not mistaken Agnes will show up again on RCTI today (12 Dec) and on Trans TV on 15 Dec and also Indosiar on 18 Dec.

The song she duet with Keith Martin is called “I’ll Light a Candle”. The album is made in 2 languages: Indonesian and English. Her next sinetron, PINK will be shown next year along with her big surprise project that’s still a secret. It’s only said that Agnes will go to USA next year to meet some famous musicians and the surprise will be revealed on her birthday, July 2006.

High confidence balanced with established ability, makes Agnes becoming sturdier in entertainment world. A lot of hopes and dreams she wants to achieve as an art worker, especially in singing career. Reflecting on a success, Agnes wants to be like her senior Anggun who’s already exist world wide. “Why is after her era no more people wants to get there? Even it’s a tough way and hard-hitting opportunity, I’ll always try to be the next one”, exclaimed Agnes.

The successful of Anggun becomes the inspiration to go international. She said Anggun is a description of Indonesian woman who conquers the world of international music. “She has proofed that what was impossible is actually can be done well”, said Agnes. “I know it’s hard but I won’t stop trying it till I can make it. But aside of hard work and good quality, we also need good luck”, said she.

“Whaddup A?” is Agnes second teen album and also her 4th album along her singing career. In her new album Agnes cooperated with Keith Martin, a former member of Boyz II Men, for 2 songs titled “Get Up” and “ I’ll Light A Candle”. And special for “I Light a Candle”, Keith did duet with Agnes. “Distributors from Malaysia and Singapore have asked the album, and also from Philippines, considering that Keith lives there for a moment.”

For acting business, 2 of her dramas with Jerry Yan (The Hospital) and Peter Ho (White Tower) will be shown in Taiwan and China next year. For Indonesia, Agnes has set up a new sinetron titled “Pink”. Agnes said she didn’t feel disappointed of her looseness over Tamara Bleszinsky in Panasonic Awards couple weeks ago because of her long absence on tv drama. “Everybody feels the ups and downs of carrier. What’s more important is how we handle it,” said she wisely.

MAKING A BIG CONCERT
Having launched 2 albums, Agnes has never been held big concert yet. The undergraduate law school student of UPH is more involved in showcases or TV shows. Yet in mid 2006 Agnes is planning to have the very first big concert. She promises it will be the coolest and craziest concert with extraordinary concept and supported by American musician. Agnes refused to tell his name but she confirmed that he’s a famous musician in the world. “ It’s 80% confirmed that he’ll come. But I don’t want to brag it,” said she.

In supporting the successful of her concert, Agnes cut her schedule of studies. She’ll only take 2 days a week for uni and the rest of the week will be physical, dancing and singing exercises. “2006 definitely will be much more different year!”

Agnes Monica Luncurkan Album 'WHDDUPA?'



Kapanlagi.com - Setelah suskes dipanggung musik, penyanyi muda Agnes Monica kembali meluncurkan album keduanya berjudul WHDDUPA?. Dalam album terbarunya ini Agnes mengusung 10 lagu dan dua diantaranya hasil gubahan Keith Martin. Dalam jumpa persnya yang digelar di gedung Serba Guna RCTI, Jumat (9/12), penyayi pop terbaik 2003-2004 ini mengungkapkan surpraise atas peluncuran album ini.
"Terus terang ini album saya yang paling baik. Soalnya saya lebih banyak berperan di situ," ujar Agnes dengan wajah penuh bahagia.

Rencananya, Sabtu (10/12) besok, Agnes akan menggelar konser yang bakal disiarkan secara langsung oleh RCTi pukul 20.22 dari studio empat RCTi, jalan Kebon Jeruk Jakarta .

Pelantun Bilang Saja ini akan membawakan 10 lagu dalam album terbarunya ini dengan tema Pop Urban.

Kesepuluh lagu dalam abum ini merupakan campuran dari album lama, yakni 5 diambil dari album lama dan 5 lagu-lagu baru.

Diantara lagu-lagu yang mengisi album WHDDUPA? ini antara lain, Bilang Saja, Jera, Ku Tlah Jatuh Cinta, Cinta Mati, Tak Bisa, Tak Ada Logika, Di Ujung Jalan, Kamu dan Kamu, I'll Light A Candle, Bukan Milikmu.

Lagu bukan Milikmu Lagi ciptaan Ari Bias yang diarasmen oleh Dudi SS ini sedainya akan jadi single pertama dari album Whaddup?.

Banyak artis yang terlibat dalam album ini diantaranya Ari Bias, Melly Goslaw, Yudies, Andi Arianto, Dewing dan Valent.

Menurut Agnes album ini bernuansa warna pink, gold dan glamor. Alasan pemilihan warna ini adalah sebagai ciri khas dalam album ini, selain itu warna pink merupakan warna yang digemari remaja Indonesia saat ini.

"Aku ingin menawarkan sesuatu yang baru dari album ini. Biar masyarakat tidak bosan," candanya.

Panggarapan album WHDDUPA?! ini dapat dibilang cukup singkat, hanya menghabislan waktu sekitar tiga bulan dalam mengarasmen lagu. Bahkan saat berduet dengan Keit Martin, Agnes cuma membutuhkan waktu satu jam.

"Nggak ada kendala apapun dalam pembuatan album ini, semua lancar. Dan Keit Martin cukup antusia saat berduet dengan aku,"jelasnya.

Mulai sekarang album Agnes sudah bisa didapatkan di toko-toko kaset di seluruh Indonesia. Rencananya penyanyi ini akan mulai enggelar tur pada Januari nanti. Pasalnya, untuk Desember nanti, Agnes sudah mendapat banyak job manggung termasuk mengisi acara tahun baru. (kl/iin)
