Siapa bilang Agnes Monica antipati terhadap wartawan? Buktinya, kemarin malam, seusai menerima penghargaan dari salah satu stasiun televisi swasta, pelantun lagu Bilang Saja ini mengaku ingin merayakan ulang tahun secara khusus bersama para pemburu berita.

“Saya akan berulang tahun tgl 1 Juli nanti. Saya ingin merayakannya bersama wartawan saja. Khusus untuk wartawan,” kata Agnes, serius.

Tak pelak, undangan Agnes itu langsung disambut baik wartawan. Soalnya, baru kali ini para pemburu berita mau dibuatkan acara secara khusus oleh Agnes Monica.

Namun, artis muda berbakat ini belum bisa memastikan di mana acara ulang tahunnya yang ke-20 bakal digelar. Soalnya, kata Agnes, ini baru sebatas rencana.

Meski demikian, wartawan tetap memberi sambutan meriah atas keinginan Agnes itu. Jarang-jarang bintang yang sering dicap arogan ini mau mengakrabkan diri dengan insane pers.

Selain rencana merayakan ulang tahun, Agnes juga memiliki niat menggelar konser tunggal dalam waktu dekat. Saat ini ia tengah sibuk mempersiapkan keperluan konser itu. Jadi, jangan heran bila dalam beberpa bulan ke depan, bungsu dari dua bersaudara ini jarang terlihat bernyanyi di layar kaca.

Bukan hanya sebagai pusat berita. Untuk tampil di sinetron saja Agnes sudah mulai mengurangi intensitasnya. Menurut Agnes, itu dilakukan karena ia memang sedang berkonsentrasi penuh untuk menyambut konser tunggal perdananya Juli mendatang.

“Tawaran yang datang untuk main sinetron itu banyak. Tapi, memang sekarang saya lagi konsentrasi membuat konser dulu,” kata Agnes.

Meski jarang tampil di layar kaca Indonesia, Agnes mengaku, sudah lumayan sering muncul di layar TV negara-negara Asia. Bintang yang melejit lewat sinetron Pernikahan Dini di RCTI ini malah mengatakan, Juli mendatang sinetronnya bersama personel F4, Jerry Yan, bakal segera tayang.

“Sinetron saya sama Jerry Yan memang belum tayang. Rencananya bulan Juli atau Agustus baru akan tayang,” ujar pemilik album And The Story Goes dan Whaddup A? ini.
