i hold my truths based on actual observable experiences just like those people in the project-reason.org.
GW may hold other's truths as his own Buddhism, there's a bit of that in science, if we don't have that element of faith based on the construction of other's established facts, how can you get on the plane and fly across the continents?
i hope other's truths can help him calm his anger and quit his obsession to be your guru master...

I'm sorry to have jump to such conclusion about other people in that forum.
But, if you have watched GW then you noticed that he plays games and doesn't want his true nature to be seen.
First he pretends to know nothing but read books and eat soup. Then he pretends to be an imitation Zen master.
Then, he is drinking tea. He holds his pride high in his chest. Buddhism or rather his Buddhism can't be argued or discussed
otherwise his world breaks down. When that happened with another member, he attacked him with false allegations.
I don't trust people who hide behind the worlds of others or of noble monks. I present myself as I am and expect others to do the same. Hold your one finger up and he will hold two fingers up. The truth can't be reached this way.
And, as you know, I'm still on a path and still looking for a teacher to help me reach across ... if I'm deem fit and ready.
It isn't about wanting to be right. It is about wanting the truth. How do I see the truth behind the words quoted???
Is what you are presenting ... the part of you that is real or just something you want yourself to be like???
I so tire of pretenders like GW who just started reading books and think they understand it all.
There are monks who have spent their entire life learning about Buddhism ... and they don't spout crap like GW.
I'm sorry but GenlteWind is just hot air.
