She has had plastic surgery no doubt about it, still she looks great, the Panasonic pic is pretty cool, and probably it has some air-brushing too.

I've listened to some of her songs but never knew she had platic surgery. Wow, she looks a lot different and part of it is the heavy makeup that she puts on.

Quite honestly i've always thought she was really pretty. With or without the plastic surgery. Even with the big difference between the before and after, it looks very natural. In the U.S. the plastic surgery, when done in extreme quantities, looks like crap and is scary.

as i said... everyone goes through "ayumi obsession stage". i think this is my 50 million time saying it. if u dont get over her within a month or so, u seriously got some problems. >_<;;; its painful listening to her singing sometimes, even the concert. i had to eject the dvd within a few minutes of it. it was sad...

I don't care what Ayumi looks like, she can actually sing, so hence I listen to her music. A singer is there to sound good, not look good, she can do what she wants with her body.

True. I didn't even really know what Ayumi looked like when I bought her newest album. I only saw the cover pic. [I bought it in T.dot where stuff is...copied] But when I listened to it, I decided I liked her singing!

I like Ayumi's songs. She's more creative than the typical Asian artists IMO.

I started listening to Ayumi a while back, at that time, I thought overall she was pretty good. But some of the songs I did get bored of pretty quickly, and some, they just didn't tune in.
However, some were pretty good, dispite her unique voice which some might fight annoying.

As for her looks, hmmm, it's rather strange. Ayumi has her really nice, and I mean really nice studio pics, whether or not plastic, doesn't matter. But she also has her really bad ones - and I've seen quite abit of those too.

She still has this japanese or east-asian look nowadays. The eyes are look asian, they have a sharp edge. Pretty, her eyes looked pretty too in her younger years.

some people do look ugly when dey're around age 12-16, but as they grow up, dey look prettier. same as ayumi here, she just puts on some make up? wats wrong with her?

and her voice is great too, very unique.

note here some girls just dont like her since she's pretty, rich, and has a good voice + body. just jealous -_-

ha has? namie amuro is better than ayumi. namie CAN dance. yeahs- ive seen ayumi dance- the robot style. she isnt flexible. other than that though, ayumi's voice gets annoying from time to time, but here, im admitting- her step you album/single is quite good. better than her other albums.

It's obvious she had, at least, eyelid surgery. She had the double lids before. She just had them enlarged.

yukichanxp ________ haha you have a totally super bias against Ayumi. There isn't an "Ayumi obsession" stage. Is it really wrong to like her music? I've never seen her dance, nor have I watched any of her music videos or anything. All I've heard is her "My Story" CD and I LOVE it very much. Is that so wrong? Just because Namie Amuro can dance and stuff doesn't mean that Ayumi is a terrble singer. Just because you like Namie better doesn't mean we can't like Ayumi does it?

Michael Jackson is sooo over and out. Ayumi is still respected by many and looks decent And Michael Jackson went from black to white, Ayumi has always looked japanese.

I don't know who she is, but she kinda looks plastic to me. She seems pretty sweet though.

I thought that too, her voice sounded squeeky and bit false to me, but now I can see the good side of it, because she has many great songs like Seasons, M, Memorial Address. She sounds pleasant now.

I didnt say that Ayumi is a terrible singer & for one thing- lmaos. i didnt say that no one else can like her. im just giving my opinion. Besides- I dont hate Ayumi as much as you think because there are songs that I like from her. She just sounds REALLY fake especially the fact that at one point shes singing in a nice & unannoying voice, but laters- she sounds like some chipmunk- the very high pitch girly voice.
