so i came across this series of videos about the hmong people in thailand. they are the exact same as the ones in laos so it gives you a complete picture of what life was like before the war. every single detail of a typical hmong family life is covered. i learned so much from this i can't believe its not more readily available to educate those born in the US.

From what I know, the conditions for the most Hmong have improved significantly. In many remote regions; however, more improvements are desperately needed. Here is something about Hmong women health I saw four months ago on Al Jazeera. As can be seen, some still live like it was half a century ago. Hope things get better soon.
